Skyform Statement
Skyform is a company that strives to not only maintain industry standards but to surpass them in respect of health and safety, sustainability and our organisations benefit to the communities and locations we deliver our work scopes.
The Directors and senior management of the Skyform Group recognise the importance of approaching their responsibilities for corporate social responsibility in a co-ordinated and committed fashion.
Consultation with Directors and employees has allowed us to develop a corporate social responsibility programme comprised of:

Each of the Directors has committed to bring this combined corporate social responsibility statement to the attention of all members of staff through local communication channels and via our national communication network. In addition, it has been agreed that this policy will be reviewed and measured annually to ensure that our commitment to environmental responsibility, the community, and our ethical policy are as up-to-date and forward thinking as possible.
Code of Conduct Policy
The purpose of the Skyform Code of Conduct outlines the expectations of employees and to build trust and confidence in the integrity of Skyform by ensuring that all personnel:
Adopt a safe approach to all situations;
Demonstrate appropriate standards of conduct;
Demonstrate fairness and equity in decision making;
Enhance the reputation of the organisation.
At all times, Skyform employees will act responsibly in a manner that is appropriate to their role within Skyform and consistent with our organisational values and policies.
Certain behaviours will not be tolerated by Skyform at any time. These include but are not
limited to the following:
Theft, stealing or any other illegal activity;
Hindering or obstructing another person’s efforts to complete their work in a proper manner;
Use of alcohol or prescription drugs that is irresponsible or in breach of the Skyform’s Drug and Alcohol Policy;
Breaches of other Skyform’s Policies;
Discrimination, harassment, abusive behaviour or any behaviour that violates the basic rights of other personnel.
If a complaint is received, Skyform will make every effort to investigate and resolve the matter in a fair manner in accordance with the Counselling and Discipline Procedure.
Failure to comply with Skyform’s Code of Conduct policy or any other policy or procedure, whether it be one of Skyform’s or one of the clients that has to be adhered to may result in that person’s employment being terminated after an investigation has been conducted.
Our Work in the Community
Involvement in the local community is of paramount importance to the Skyform Group – we consider ourselves as part of the community being committed to businesses in the local area, hence our wide geographical presence around the UK.
At Skyform we believe that helping the local community is not just something we choose to do but is actually an important part of our business.
We understand that local businesses and communities are closely linked and that we can have a significant impact on communities as a whole. The Skyform Group plays an active role in contributing to these communities both through direct financial support and through the support of our Directors and staff who take part in activities organised both by the firm and by themselves. Our Directors and staff are involved in regional Chambers of Commerce, local council initiatives and other business group activities. We also provide work placements for local students and support for educational establishments.
The firm supports a number of national and local charities with both time and money. The firm supports payroll giving and the Directors and senior management provide time and advice free of charge to local groups and organisations.
Our objective is to encourage our Directors, management and staff to play a significant part in the development of local communities.
Our Environmental Policy
Skyform is ISO 14001 accredited and are environmentally aware and responsible in everything we do. We continually strive to improve our excelling environmental status and intend to measure our carbon footprint this year. With the view of improving it year to year whilst also expanding our company.
Our Ethical Policy
This goes beyond any legal requirements that we need to maintain to provide the highest level of professional integrity with regard to our clients, staff and professional regulators, along with others with whom we interact. We set our standards in excess of regulation with regard to client confidentiality, our objectivity and our independence.
Code of Conduct for our Supply Chain
Skyform expects our supply chain to adopt our corporate responsibility values and policies at all times whilst supplying their services to our organisation.
We expect our suppliers to ensure the following throughout their organisation:
Ensure that adequate procedures are in place to maintain our quality standards
Ensure that adequate procedures are in place to maintain our environmental standards
Ensure that adequate procedures are in place to maintain our health and safety standards
Demonstrate appropriate standards of conduct;
Demonstrate fairness and equity in decision making;
Provision of ethically procured Labour;
Provision of adequate supervision at all times
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws applicable to their organisation
It is the duty of all suppliers to maintain a standard of integrity in their business relationships, both internally and externally and to firmly reject those practises which might be deemed improper so ensuring that employees are trusted and respected by all for not only carrying out its business efficiently but in a fair and reasonable manner and with integrity.
The main principles are:-
The conduct of staff should not cultivate in the suspicion of any conflict between their official duty and their private interest.
That the action of staff should not give the impression to any member of the public, to any organisation with whom they deal or to their colleagues that they have been or may have been influenced by a gift or a consideration to show favour or disfavour to any person or organisation.
That dealings with suppliers/contractors must at all times be honest, fair and even-handed.
That ethical behaviour must be promoted and supported by appropriate systems and procedures.
The Future
The Skyform Directors will review this document annually and consult both Directors and employees in order to evaluate this strategy and update and improve our policies on an ongoing basis.
As part of this process, we will monitor our progress against our objectives to ensure compliance by our offices and we will continue to set new objectives for the future.
